In metrology, comparison measurements are essential for testing and verifying the calibration and measurement capabilities of calibration laboratories. We highlight the benefits of reporting participants & apos; results using a standardized digital calibration certificate (DCC) and performing automatic comparison analysis with a digital metrology expert (DME). These advantages will be examined in the context of the ongoing international comparison in the field of non-contact body temperature measurement, CCT K11.

Abstract

In metrology, comparison measurements are essential for testing and verifying the calibration and measurement capabilities of calibration laboratories. We highlight the benefits of reporting participants & apos; results using a standardized digital calibration certificate (DCC) and performing automatic comparison analysis with a digital metrology expert (DME). These advantages will be examined in the context of the ongoing international comparison in the field of non-contact body temperature measurement, CCT K11.
