This paper investigates the influence of supply, circuit and magnetic material parameters on the occurring of fundamental-mode fer- oresonance in a series inductance–capacitance–resistance ( ) circuit with a nonlinear inductor. The analysis is developed using a modeling approach, validated by experiments, which accurately describes themagnetic behavior (dynamic hysteresis and eddy currents) f the saturable inductance. The conditions leading to subharmonic ferroresonance are also investigated.

Abstract
