In recent years, several improvements have been made on the INRIM coaxial microcalorimeter with the aim to make more stable its operation and reduce the measurement uncertainty. Improvements concern the thermostat structure, the coaxial insulating lines, measurement software and electronics. A comprehensive uncertainty budget is here presented, that takes into account the main influence variables in the realization of the Radiofrequency and Microwaves (RF&MW) power standard at INRIM by means of the microcalorimetric technique. Details are also given on how some component has been determined.
